I'm writing from the perspective of a husband who accompanied his wife to Dr. Banach. It was a checkup a week before her expected due date. The doctor was acting as a substitute for the gynecologist whose services my wife had been receiving during her pregnancy. I only saw what the screen couldn't obscure, but based on this alone, I regretfully must say that the examination was conducted in a very brutal manner. There was bleeding, which, while it turned out to be harmless, caused a great deal of stress for both me and my wife. I think this could have been avoided if the doctor had shown a little more sensitivity and delicacy. Besides, inviting someone into the office by calling them "pregnant" instead of using "Mrs... your wife's name here" is a testament to the doctor's poor manners.

During my visit with Dr. Andrzej Banach, I received nothing but a lack of empathy, arrogance, ridicule, and ignorance. After sharing my history and my monologue, he also refused to issue a referral for key tests, falsely claiming that the National Health Fund (NFZ) does not issue any referrals (the visit took place at an NFZ clinic). This is completely unprofessional and inconsistent with the standards of medical care. A doctor has a duty to treat a patient with respect, listen to their concerns, and order the necessary diagnostic tests, especially if there is a gynecological history (especially if there is a family history of cancer) indicating the need for screening tests, such as a breast ultrasound or tumor markers. Refusing such a diagnosis, combined with misleading the patient about the principles of NFZ operation, is unserious and inconsistent with medical ethics. I do not recommend him!

I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Andrzej Banach. Dr. Banach is a doctor with extensive knowledge and experience, which he eagerly shares with his patients. He is a doctor who takes a holistic approach, connects the dots, and looks for the cause rather than masking symptoms. He specializes in demanding cases. A thorough analysis of tests on several levels is rare among doctors. I believe that absolutely every doctor with this title should have this knowledge, commitment, and patient-centered approach, which is unfortunately rare these days. Dr. Banach has his own views, which he boldly and vocally expresses, which I consider a positive thing, so I can only recommend him.

This isn't a doctor you go to for a kind word, but for a proper diagnosis, an effective examination (which can be unpleasant), and effective treatment. He's specific and focused on the goal, not on comforting you. That's what a husband or psychotherapist is for. I expect diagnoses and solutions from a doctor, not pats on the back. Dr. Banach was the only one after many years to diagnose me correctly (which I initially didn't believe, because no gynecologist had ever seen endometriosis in me). He referred me to the hospital, to a specific doctor who knew what he was doing and what he was dealing with. Thanks to him, I've had my surgery (because, unfortunately, it was too late for natural methods). I know what to do next, I know what I'm dealing with. Until now, NO ONE has been able to help me in any way. Moreover, he respects the patient's decisions. I didn't want to push myself to medication, so he suggested herbal solutions. What doctor is capable of doing that? Because until now, I've been ridiculed for suggesting natural, non-invasive, and harmless methods. I will continue to recommend him.
