I initially saw the doctor Marek Szostek because I had a subdermal parasite and wanted a referral for surgery to have it removed. The doctor first sent me for an ultrasound to pinpoint the exact location of the small bump. The ultrasound confirmed the parasite was precisely where I felt it was. When I returned with the imaging results, the doctor refused to give me the surgical referral. His stated reason was simply, "I don't think you need surgery. This is my medical opinion." This decision goes against common medical guidelines in the US and Europe, which usually advise removing such parasites to prevent complications like inflammation. Furthermore, a specialist at the Hospital of Tropical Diseases also recommended excision. The doctor insisted—based purely on his opinion—that the parasite must be dead. The key issue is that we have no objective proof of this. Although the parasite is currently immobilized, it cannot be definitively proven that it's dead and could potentially start moving again, which would cause significant physical and mental distress. Furthermore, the doctor was highly unprofessional, suggesting I "do this surgery myself since I'm that smart and know everything myself" after my attempts to explain necessity of the surgery. Instead of receiving necessary support and treatment, I was subjected to insults and distress. This interaction represents the worst attitude and standard of patient care I have ever encountered.

I had a scheduled appointment with Dr. Ghassan Abu Shawarib on 15/12. He did not show up for the appointment, and there was no call, message, or cancellation beforehand. I waited and received no explanation afterward either. Very unprofessional and rude!!

Overall great service and kind staff at the reception. Parking seems problematic there (Piaseczno), but I used public transport, so can't say 100%

I traveled 1 hour to make the appointment that I had to wait 1 week for. I sat and waited 1 hour i saw the doctor leave. When I went to ask what was happening they stated the dr. Just left and i had to come back another day. They weren’t going to say anything to me until I asked. The receptionist did not help or show any empathy at all.

I had a doctor call consultation from this clinic yesterday at 17. Then he promised me that I will get an SMS. I waited but then I got nothing. Now I am still sick without medicine. I am very disappointed with their service. Really sorry to leave this review, but it is true. Not a good thing at all leaving patient without information. I called customer service of medicover to 5 different people from last night to this morning because every time I end call with one, there was no concrete solution. Now I am still trying to contact the clinic.
