As someone else mentioned, endocrinologist Dębski was very unpleasant. He didn't even listen to my serious health symptoms, and immediately began lecturing and downplaying them. He believes no additional tests are necessary; he claims they're only done when a woman wants to get pregnant. This is untrue and disregards health. His shaming behavior makes you lose the will to even try to explain your situation; you just want to leave and slam the door.

From my observations, it's a pretty good clinic. The gastroenterologist and endocrinologist are very nice gentlemen, seem professional and engaged, and they explain everything to the patient. The receptionists and the treatment room are similar. Tests are on-site, with various appointments, some of which are too far away. It's easy to reach by phone. The clinic is conveniently located, right on the main street, with free parking nearby. After your visit, you can do some shopping at the nearby Lidl or the Szembek center.

The reception staff was friendly and eager to help during the appointment. And then the visit... The best summary is the last sentence of the cardiologist's interpretation of the results: "TEST WĄTPLIWY" (doubtful test). After the test, they suggested I would be more comfortable in sportswear. I had it on, but no one told me, and this was my first time, that I should change in the hallway or entrance hall. Or maybe outside in front of the clinic? Overall, the atmosphere wasn't very pleasant. I was told to stand in an unnatural position. I normally walk much more and faster without any cardiorespiratory symptoms, but in this case, the test was interrupted due to a hypertensive RR reaction. I don't know, maybe that's true, or maybe the problem was that I was the last patient and had to go home? I was told to arrive at least half an hour early, but I was seen five minutes late. When I asked why I had to come early, I was told, "You're welcome." No respect for the patient's time. Or maybe it's just that I was an outsider and only had a checkup without a consultation, so why be nice? Except that the result is that my blood pressure in the office was 140/90, my pulse was 89, and when I got home, it was 120/78 (Omron M2 Intelli IT), my pulse was 77.

I'm lucky to be treated by Dr. Marta Łącka. She is a wonderful, warm internist with extensive knowledge and a wonderful approach to patients, and she's also very thorough and patient. The receptionists are also incredibly friendly, not to mention the nurses in the treatment rooms, who carry out their work with great empathy. Overall, Petra Medica is a top-notch clinic and worth recommending.

Note: If you lose your insurance for a month, you'll have to sign a declaration to your primary care physician to get back in. This is insane. I'm insured. What's more, I have a disability certificate. Who agrees to this insane system?
