This was my first visit to a gynecologist, and unfortunately, it was traumatic on many levels. Instead of support and professionalism, I was met with a complete lack of empathy. The doctor acted condescendingly, and I felt completely ignored when I tried to speak or ask questions. The exam itself was a nightmare – incredibly painful and performed without sensitivity. The speculum was forced, resulting in bleeding that lasted four days. No explanation, no gentleness. The visit was a "dough it out and go home" kind of experience. If you're looking for a doctor who will listen and examine you gently, steer clear!
