Another place where working at the front desk is a punishment. Seriously, ladies, you don't have to put up with it... I call, wait, and after 20 minutes of patiently waiting and listening to relaxing music, the woman answers. She's been talking to a friend who replies, "I don't know," to my questions and then hangs up. It's a good thing I happen to have a hobby: calling offices, otherwise I'd be going crazy :)

You wake up in the morning with a fever and a cold, call the clinic to make an appointment, and the receptionist tells you there are no available appointments until the end of the week... only starting next week... is it my fault? What am I paying National Health Fund contributions for? I tell her I need a 4-month period, and the woman says I can try seeing some doctor after 4 p.m.... and the doctor will be in a bad mood or want to go out for lunch and say no... what next?... I guess there are some emergencies, and during such times, there should be more doctors on duty... I'm not planning on getting sick... I need to change clinics...

I scheduled a private Holter monitor for my grandmother through a well-known doctor's website. A few days before the appointment, I called the receptionist to ask how long we'd have to wait for the test report. The receptionist initially told me she didn't know if they'd install the Holter monitor that day because it wasn't known if it would be available, but "it should be." She added that the wait time for the report would be a week and that someone would definitely contact me to confirm availability. There was no contact; on Sunday, I received a text message reminder about the appointment. On Monday, after arriving at the clinic, she registered my grandmother. A moment later, we entered the office, and the doctor informed us that she could install the Holter monitor, but she would be on vacation for the next three weeks and wouldn't return until December. So, she wouldn't describe the Holter monitor until we had an appointment with a specialist. I explained that I'd specifically asked over the phone how long the wait was for the report, and the doctor said the receptionists knew she was on vacation. I went to the receptionist and asked for clarification, explaining that I'd specifically called to inquire about the wait time for the report. The women, besides looking at each other, shrugging their shoulders, and claiming they didn't know anything about the doctor's leave because she hadn't told them, didn't say anything more. It's a shame we wasted our time because of the lack of competence of the receptionists, especially since my grandmother has a significant disability with left-sided paralysis, and any additional outings like this are a burden for her.

I'm glad this small clinic is nearby. The medical staff is friendly, and the interior seems nice and clean. The downsides for me are that it's difficult to get through by phone (I prefer to register in person) and that appointments are longer. For example, healthy children can only be scheduled for vaccinations a week later. But it teaches you to plan ahead and keep track of your precious appointments.

I highly recommend it :) Having my blood drawn by one of the nurses with dark hair is painless; you barely feel the sting. My only unpleasant memory is an incident where I had to wait over an hour and a half for the doctor. Other than that, everything's fine :)
