In August 2023, I chose Invicta Clinic in Warsaw for a hysteroscopy under anesthesia, diagnosed with a uterine polyp during an ultrasound. My husband and I went from Italy to Poland for this procedure, trusting the clinic’s reputation and professionalism. The operation was done under anesthesia, after I was informed by the doctor that there was no polyp, nothing was found. Later he confirmed that when I called the clinic a few weeks later.However, only a month later, during a follow-up ultrasound in Italy the doctor confirmed that the polyp was still present in my uterus. As a result, I had to do another hysteroscopy under anesthesia in a different clinic, where the polyp was finally removed. I am deeply disappointed and confused to be honest. We invested a significant amount of money and effort to travel abroad and we believed would be a proper and conclusive medical procedure. Instead I experienced unnecessary stress, an additional surgery, and uncertainty about how such a mistake could have occurred. I still do not fully understand what went wrong during the first hysteroscopy at Invicta, and I sincerely hope the clinic reviews this my case.

I visited this clinic recently and was really impressed by the kindness and professionalism of the staff. Everyone was so supportive and made me feel truly cared for. The atmosphere was warm and comforting — it really put me at ease. I’m grateful for their help and the advice I received. I’ll definitely be coming back 🙌🙌

My primary goal was egg preservation. However, at the end of the retrieval process, there was a serious breach of my privacy. In the recovery room, the doctor publicly disclosed the results —mine and those of other patients— using only mimed gestures. Without saying a single word, he pointed at each patient and used his fingers to indicate the number of eggs that had been frozen, in front of everyone present. This method of communication was far from professional or respectful, and it exposed private medical information without any regard for confidentiality. The clinic downplayed the incident, stating that the doctor’s way of communicating was “appropriate,” and that if I had lost the opportunity to begin a new treatment, I could simply start over — by paying again. This response was insensitive and dismissive, completely ignoring the emotional, physical, and financial impact this situation had on me. I leave feeling deeply disappointed by the lack of professionalism, the violation of my rights as a patient, and the emotional toll this experience has caused. What should have been a meaningful and carefully supported process turned into one where I was left hurt, exposed, and without options.

All hospitals in the world give medical reports in two languages, the language of the country and in English, then the big your hospital and your high-class service, you refuse to translate my report, wonder, is that expensive!?! Thank you 🥀
