  I wholeheartedly DO NOT RECOMMEND Dr. Blitek! I had a fetal echocardiogram performed at Kardiomed. The doctor diagnosed right ventricular failure, a defect in the heart, and valvular regurgitation. After six weeks, he recommended a follow-up. After asking the doctor if I should worry, I was told that "worry is a relative term. Some worry, while others are happy that their child is born without a leg but with a head." I left the office terrified and distraught. After about seven days, I went to another cardiologist for an echocardiogram, who completely ruled out Dr. Blitek's diagnosis. Our little one's heart is fine and developing normally. And there's no need for follow-up. I should also mention that the doctor was 40 minutes late. Ladies, steer clear of this doctor to avoid stress during your pregnancy.

  During my visit to his office in Wrocław, he made statements unbecoming of a doctor. He said the baby had macrosomia (over 4.5 kg), that I wouldn't deliver it alive, that it would fracture its shoulder girdle. He diagnosed a heart defect and predicted surgery after birth. He told me not to be surprised that there were problems with the "fetus" since I was deciding to get pregnant so late (I'm 30), and that reproductive age is 20, not 30. He mentioned stillbirths, that in the past, both mothers and children died during childbirth, but not to worry, because there were surgeries. He also added that the fetal macrosomia was my fault because "if the mother is fat, the baby will be big." These are the exact words of the doctor. I should emphasize that I'm not fat, I didn't have diabetes during pregnancy, I gained a total of 9 kg, and the baby was born 3.5 kg with a healthy heart. During the appointment, he gorged on cream puffs, violated my comfort zone, made a diagnosis that turned out to be incorrect at delivery, caused a lot of stress, which can negatively impact the end of the pregnancy, and made such comments. It's also important that due to the pandemic, no one can come in to support the pregnant woman and possibly curb this behavior. I should add that the baby was born at 3.5 kg, full-term, and completely healthy. Well, it cost me a lot of stress and a private visit to another specialist, who ruled out Mr. Blitek's diagnosis. I don't recommend it.

  I warn against doctor Marek Blitek, who is a common fraudster. His actions should be reported to the medical chamber and the prosecutor's office, and he should have his license to practice revoked. He diagnosed a fetal septal defect on a fetal ultrasound – he tried to convince me otherwise, just to make another appointment with him in a few weeks. The gynecologist overseeing my pregnancy said he didn't see any defect and advised me to have it verified by another cardiologist. I immediately went for another fetal echocardiogram with another cardiologist, and the fetal heart showed no septal defect or any other defect, and the heart is normal. I wonder how many women Marek Blitek has deceived in this way, causing unnecessary stress and anxiety. What kind of person do you have to be to deceive women in such a situation!!!

  The doctor himself is pleasant and polite, but the entire system at the Żary facility is flawed. This includes the 99-year-old "receptionist," who, despite her rather advanced age, is VERY GOOD at using her cell phone and all its "gadgets." She's rude and surprised that she "has to sit," and if she gets any comments or questions she doesn't like, she goes to the head doctor to complain. Maybe it's not a scandal, but a travesty... a grown woman is on her smartphone and has trouble when someone asks a question. The doctor approached me, "Why are you rushing to the receptionist?" When I had witnesses, I politely asked, "Do you know the approximate wait time to get in?" (Because we should be leaving the doctor's office by then!).

  A very professional and competent doctor. The atmosphere during the examination was very pleasant; the doctor explained everything step by step, explaining everything, and reassuring nervous parents. I recommend prenatal testing with this doctor to everyone!
