I highly recommend both the childbirth classes and the mentoring visits and lactation consultations with midwife Elwira. My husband and I attended the childbirth classes, and after leaving the hospital, we received support and assistance with breastfeeding, which was made even more challenging by our daughter's very short frenulum. At Gabinaty mamma, we managed to correct the frenulum that had been incorrectly cut in the hospital with a surgical procedure, saving and maintaining our milk supply. Elwira's help and support were invaluable to us. We were able to ask any questions and received advice and care. :) The childbirth classes prepared me for labor and delivery, caring for my baby, and gave me a sense of empowerment and a wealth of knowledge, thanks to which I was able to give birth to my daughter naturally without anesthesia and trust myself and my body in the process. Furthermore, I was able to count on urogynecological support during my pregnancy. I highly recommend this place, which offers a wealth of knowledge and support to those who want to be well-prepared for natural childbirth and natural feeding. :)

I don't recommend visiting a so-called lactation consultant. The woman was very rude from the start. She made inappropriate comments. She basically told me I probably had some mental issues because I was afraid to put my baby on my stomach. When it came to teaching me to breastfeed, she only showed me one position because, as she said, my only place was at home, to lie with my baby and feed him. The worst appointment I had was in 2023, and I only now decided to write this.

I highly recommend the Childbirth Class. The classes led by Ms. Elwira were extremely informative and based on current, reliable knowledge. The practical portion proved particularly helpful in preparing us for the care and nurturing of our daughter. After our baby was born, Ms. Elwira also conducted visits during which she not only performed standard procedures but also provided us with valuable tips on proper breastfeeding and newborn care. At Ms. Elwira's initiative, we had a medical consultation to have our frenulum trimmed, which significantly facilitated breastfeeding. We wholeheartedly recommend Ms. Elwira's classes and care to all expectant parents.
