  I'm a patient at Dr. Giełzak's Specialist Surgical Clinic. I rarely leave reviews, but I decided to write one anyway. In all my years, I've never experienced such service and medical care from the National Health Fund (NFZ) as I did at this clinic. From the very beginning, I was given a very quick appointment for a mammotome breast procedure, which, I might add, costs around 5,000 PLN privately. With a few of these lesions, I would probably have to take out a loan to have everything done privately. I have monthly procedures at this clinic. Before each procedure, I receive a call from the clinic confirming my arrival and detailed instructions on how to prepare for the procedure. Previously, I'd only had such things done privately, and here I have such care from the National Health Fund. 👍👍👍 Dr. Giełzak and nurse Leokadia are miracle workers. I got rid of all my lesions without pain and in a pleasant atmosphere. I RECOMMEND ☺️

  I was terrified of the gastroscopy from the moment the referral was issued. I shouldn't have been. The procedure wasn't pleasant, but the nurses were incredibly supportive and kind. She held my hand and reassured me throughout the entire procedure. I'd rather not repeat that, but if I do, it'll definitely be here.

  I would wholeheartedly recommend Tommed Hospital in Katowice at 2 Fredry Street. I recently underwent a procedure there and am incredibly grateful to the entire team for their professionalism, care, and excellent care. From the very beginning, I felt cared for – the medical staff was incredibly kind and patient, explaining everything thoroughly, so I could approach the procedure calmly and without stress. The doctors demonstrated extensive knowledge and experience, and the nurses were incredibly empathetic and helpful. The anesthesiologist was wonderful! The procedure itself was smooth and comfortable, and the post-operative care was top-notch. The hospital has a very friendly atmosphere, and the standards of cleanliness and organization are truly impressive. Thanks to such professional care, I feel great today and can wholeheartedly recommend Tommed Hospital to anyone looking for a place where patients truly matter. Thank you again to the entire team for your care and support! ❤️

  I've been going to the clinic for a long time. I understand delays caused by patients' lateness or the malice of inanimate objects. Unfortunately, not every clinic staff member can demonstrate empathy, maintain class, or apologize for inconveniences, such as an equipment failure that resulted in the cancellation of everyone's appointments. Everyone working in healthcare should pass some kind of empathy and interpersonal communication test! The confusion surrounding the office and the repeated repetition that there are no tests today because there aren't any, but that a "minute-long appointment" "took place" 🤣 and that you need to make an appointment for another day is a misunderstanding! The situation should be handled professionally, explaining to patients what happened, that the doctor suddenly refuses to see them. Without a word of explanation, a huge queue of confused people has formed to register. During my stay there, I didn't hear a single "ladies and gentlemen, we apologize for the inconvenience" from any of the patients, nor an explanation as to whether it was a malfunction, someone stole equipment, or simply the clinic wasn't prepared for tests that day, because they weren't. 🙆🤦🤷 Can you guess? Let's be adults, you respect us, and we'll respect you.

  I recommend the Tommed clinic on Fredry 22. I'm satisfied with the care my children receive from their family doctor, Dr. Sowula – empathy, good communication, and professionalism. ;) Of course, I also recommend the pediatric and adult specialist clinics, as we are registered with the clinic as a family. Sometimes there are delays and various unpleasantries, but the medical staff always informs them of the situation – a professional approach – and the patient's situation is immediately understood, and the staff is always available to help.
