  I would like to share my experience with Dr. Tomasz Milczek at the emergency room at the University Clinical Hospital (UCK). I presented with severe abdominal pain, but during the consultation, I felt treated with little empathy. The medical history was very brief, and I felt my symptoms were not fully considered. No additional tests were ordered, and at the end of the visit, I was advised not to return to the hospital with a similar problem. Due to my persistent symptoms, I then went to the hospital in Zaspa (the Emergency Department), where more thorough tests were performed and a urinary tract infection was diagnosed, requiring treatment! I understand that the work of medical personnel can be very demanding, but for patients, both accurate diagnosis and the feeling of being heard and treated with respect are of paramount importance. I hope that my opinion will help emphasize the importance of communication and empathy in patient interactions.

  I highly recommend this place. I've been to the ER twice already during my pregnancy, and even though it turned out there was nothing seriously wrong with the pregnancy, everyone was very professional and helpful. The initial examination by the midwife was always done almost immediately to make sure everything was alright with the baby. You might have to wait a while for a doctor's consultation, depending on the urgency of the case. Of course, if the doctor decides to do additional blood tests, you might have to wait a few hours for the lab results, but that's normal. The conditions are good (separate cubicles with a comfortable armchair for the pregnant woman and a chair for the companion). When I arrived on Christmas Eve morning, thinking I was having regular contractions, they performed an immediate CTG, and I waited for the doctor to examine me. When everything turned out to be fine, I was released (I only spent two hours there, so it was a very short time considering the CTG and thorough gynecological examination alone took a lot of time). The midwives and doctors were all very kind.

  Even though I came here with severe pain and felt truly terrible after reading the reviews, all my fears vanished as soon as I entered the clinic. I was admitted immediately, and the nurses and doctors were very kind and friendly. They performed all the necessary tests and examined me thoroughly – initially, I was even prepared for surgery. However, after a thorough diagnosis and analysis of the results, the doctors assured me that the situation was not that serious. They administered IVs, thoroughly explained my condition, recommended treatment, and I was discharged. I would also like to express my special thanks to the nurses – I have never encountered such caring and friendly staff before. I would also like to emphasize that even though I am not a Polish citizen, I was treated with complete respect; there were no language barriers – I was understood perfectly, and everything I needed was provided. If you have an urgent case and a referral – you won't have to wait a second. Thank you for your care and professionalism!

  I'm devastated by the doctors' attitude. I went in for tests to confirm contraindications to vaginal delivery, as instructed. I have a 40% vision loss and a doctor's note stating neurological contraindications. Despite this, the doctors told me they wouldn't schedule me for a planned cesarean section. I should only come in once my labor begins and my doctor decides whether there's a sufficient risk to my life to warrant a cesarean section! The hospital is deliberately creating a life-threatening situation and potential complications during labor. They're also threatening me with complications of a cesarean section, including the possibility of infection, sepsis, or scar dehiscence. They're also warning me that a vaginal delivery would be better for my baby.
