  I read some concerning reviews regarding this clinic. However I have to say that the receptionist on both the ground floor and first floor were very pleasant and nice. Dr Artur Kucharski was patient, professional and caring, he answered all my questions. My experience at the clinic was very positive.

  Total disregard of my time : apparently they'd sent me an email a month ago to cancel the visit, which I obviously never received, not even in spam. Nobody bothered to call or try to contact me via znanylekarz.pl although the lady claimed I was the only patient who didn't reply (I wonder why!) When I arrived at the clinic, I was told that my visit, reserved one month before, had been canceled. Thanks a lot for wasting my time.

  First impressions were neutral, besides that the receptionist ladies at the front desk quickly asked for money when I stepped through the door. When I first met prof. dr. hab. Maria M. Sasiadek, the consultation itself seemed normal. My partner might have a genetic issue, and we are required to do two specialised tests to get sufficient statistical confidence that symptoms are caused by a mutation. We had to do a specialised sequencing assay (single exon duplication) to confirm there was a mutation, and a specialised biochemical analysis to confirm that the enzymatic activity was compromised. She declined to work on the second task because she didn't agree that it was her responsibility. But she agreed to find the right lab to help with the specialised sequencing assay. She said that we would stay in contact using mobile phone, and I was 50% satisfied as she claimed that she would help with half of the work. She asked me to call her on Friday because she promised that she would find a laboratory that could help us by then. I called her on Friday many times, but there was no answer. In the evening I had an SMS saying that she had tried to call me, but that I hadn't answered. The following day (Saturday) I wrote an answer to her, and she declined to say anything because it was the weekend, and she cannot answer patients on the weekend, she said. So I wrote a new message on Monday. She answered at once and explained that she had counselled some experts about the sequencing assay and that we would get an answer soon. A week or so passed, and there was no more new information. So I wrote again. This time, she told me that it was a difficult question (I had already done my research and found out that an appropriate test was qPCR, and had found a few laboratories that could help us). But she needed more time to find one. Another week passed, and I wrote again. The next day, she sent me a link to the biggest sequencing laboratory in Poland. She said that this laboratory could do it. But we had already written to the laboratory, and they had said that they didn't have the test. So we wrote to her and asked why she had suggested this laboratory. She said: «Can you explain how I will teach a layman about sequencing?». She told us to ask our questions to the laboratory, and not use any more time. She said that she had 50 patients in a week, and that she can't take time to help us any more. Little did she know that we had spoken to he lab, and that they could not do the analysis was the reason that we asked. We answered that it would be helpful if she could send published and peer-reviewed scientific publications that validated the test. She declined to spend any more time on us. So I requested to get our money back because the lab had said they can't do the test. She asked us to take it up with the reception, and I promised I would visit and collect the money 4 weeks or so later. In the meantime, we sent the DNA sample for analysis to an American lab, and after 4 weeks, I messaged the professor and said that I would come the following day. The next day I took the train to Wroclaw to collect the money. The woman in the reception went in to speak with the professor. When she came back, she asked me for proof that I had been there before and had a consultation. I told her that she could see on Znanylekarz, or ask the professor if I had been there. She said it was not good enough. She claimed that she would only give me the money back if I had a paper receipt from their till. I didn't have it and understood that these people were dishonest because the professor was expecting me that day. They were just making fun of me and my partner by letting me sit on the train to Wrocław and back empty-handed; not to mention calling us names and asking us to get lost and in actuality wasting 3 weeks of time for our 250zł. All-in-all, I have the impression that the professor doesn't care about anything but getting paid quick money and making fun of patients to get rid of anyone that takes too much time. I give 1 star.

  A completely different experience from my last visit (2 star review) - staff now pleasant and highly efficient. Will adjust this review's rating to 5 stars if the same is true on my next visit. Na Grobli is going up in the world!

  I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for top-quality medical care combined with exceptional empathy. My positive impressions began at the reception desk; the women working there are incredibly friendly, helpful, and smiling. From the moment you walk in, you feel you're treated with respect, not just another patient to be "checked in." The women are excellent at providing advice and creating a very friendly and stress-free atmosphere in the waiting room. Another huge plus is the midwife, Liliana, who has "golden hands." She drew my blood so gently and efficiently that for the first time in my life, I didn't panic during the procedure, which is a blessing for someone with a fear of needles. I also recommend Dr. Gralińska. She's a doctor with a vocation, incredibly empathetic and attentive to her patients' needs. She spends as much time as needed and thoroughly explains everything—what tests to perform, when, and why they're important. I feel cared for here :)
