The staff were were very friendly, patient and very understanding of my poor Polish and carried out all the checks necessary. The service was speedy and I have no issues with the centre itself. My reason for the lower rating is the poor central administration that LuxMed provides for non-native speakers in Poland. Bare minimum of English on their website, most web pages don't provide an English translation, no facility to request doctor/nurse who speaks English when booking on-line, English speaking helpline that appears to be closed during office hours and simply tells you (in Polish) to call back later or call another (non English) helpline number, no doctor/nurse profiles on the website listing their skills and spoken languages. If you are a foreigner in Gdansk and you have a choice, go with Medicover, they are much better prepared for expats.

Staff not helpful and people skip the line. Don't waste your time here. I booked the doctor visit, came from another city, waited in line (with another lady jumping ahead of me), and it turned out I should confirm my visit at the reception (and I showed the sms at the reception but no one told me the confirmation is required)

Many thanks to the Lux Med staff in Pruszcz Gdański, especially Ms. Nikola. The stitches were removed quickly. P.S. I enjoy using Lux Med in Pruszcz Gdański; I think some of the Lux Med locations in Gdańsk could learn a lot about patient care from this Pruszcz facility. :) There's also a gentleman at the front desk who's always helpful, but unfortunately I don't remember his name. I recommend Lux Med in Pruszcz Gdański. :)

A very unpleasant lady at the reception desk with blonde hair... she had trouble advising me which doctor I could see to assess whether my eyebrow arch needed stitching or not, so that I wouldn't have to go to the hospital specifically for the ER... she said that she wasn't there for that, and in fact she wasn't, because she was just an ordinary receptionist, and she acted as if she were at least some kind of manager...
