  Extremely Unprofessional Reception Service at Centrum Medyczne POLMED Gdańsk Grunwaldzka On July 28th, 2025 at 9:20 AM, my husband and I had an appointment for a special blood test at Centrum Medyczne POLMED Gdańsk Grunwaldzka. This appointment was arranged a week earlier by the doctor himself, who even came out personally to instruct the receptionist on how to register us correctly in the system. We arrived on time at 9:15 AM. However, when we approached the receptionist to ask for the room number, she had no idea who we were or why we were there. There was no record of our appointment in the system. She then asked us to fill out new paperwork and pay for the tests, without any documentation on what exact tests were required. We had to verbally repeat the test name and price based on what the doctor had told us earlier. After that, she directed us to Room 3, where we waited until 9:50 AM, despite our original scheduled time being 9:20 AM. When it was finally our turn, the nurses in Room 3 informed us they do not perform the test we came for and had no idea what we were talking about. They told us to get a referral from the geneticist – even though the doctor had already issued it the previous week, and we had paid. This situation caused complete chaos and wasted over 45 minutes of our time. No one knew what to do with us. The only person who helped was a kind nurse from the laboratory who took the initiative to go speak with the doctor and get the proper stamp for the test. While we waited, I returned to the reception and asked the receptionist for the email address of the branch manager to formally report this situation. She wrote nothing down and instead asked me to wait again. When I asked a second time before leaving, the staff seemed confused and again told me to wait – but I no longer had time to stay. In the end, the service was finally provided at 10:10 AM, almost an hour later than scheduled, due to the receptionist sending us to the wrong room and failing to log our appointment. Conclusion: I strongly do not recommend this clinic due to its disorganized and unprofessional reception staff. The issue was not with the medical professionals, but with the gross negligence and lack of accountability at the front desk. I urge the management of Centrum Medyczne POLMED Gdańsk Grunwaldzka to review this case immediately and address the clear service failures and receptionist misconduct that occurred during our visit.

  We waited for an hour outside the clinic's closed premises on the 4th and 3th floor. Neither the doctor nor the clinic responded to our messages. They did not provide information that they have a department on each floor. Now we are urgently looking for another doctor. We are very upset because we came from another country in the hope of being seen.

  If you have to do tests DO NOT go to this place. I've had the worst experience in a medical center in my life due to a very incompetent and rude nurse (overweight lady with white hair) that started yelling at me because she could not speak english. Seriously, how can a person like this be allowed to work with vunerable people in a healthcare facility? To be fair, my family has been there a few times to doctor appointments, without issues, though.
