I don't recommend giving the receptionists a medication list because you won't get the medication anyway, and the card will go to the doctor who won't write the whole thing. It's a waste of your health and nerves. It's better to make an appointment. I've been treated for osteoarthritis for over two years now, and I have mobility problems. Here's a pleasant surprise: Dr. Bodnar only prescribes packages of the regular medications he needs, and in reduced doses. So, at the pharmacy, the prescription is wasted. Absolutely professional.

The clinic doesn't deserve a single star for its phone registration process. It's a joke!!! An hour and a half wasted waiting for an appointment with no response. A scandal. Another issue is the queue to see the doctor. 30 people were booked with the same instructions: "arrive between 9 and 11 a.m.." It's nice that the doctor sees everyone, even though at 11 a.m. he's only halfway through his patient intake. But the result is that all these people arrive and wait in the waiting room. Isn't there a way to separate them? For example, register a few people for half an hour. Not to mention scheduling appointments by time... and in the morning, there's a fight for numbers. Whoever gets there first gets the first number and goes to the waiting room to wait. People... this is what the clinic might have looked like two decades ago, but here, time seems to have stopped.

Optima is a really good clinic, but there's a brunette woman with glasses at the front desk. I think she's mistaken, as she's unsympathetic and is doing me a favor by being alive! Today, July 16, 2014, I went to ask for a prescription. Could I get it by leaving a note for the doctor, or do I have to register? The woman rather arrogantly told me that was the only way. I insisted that it was okay because I was a distinguished blood donor, so I had the privilege of being able to enter without a prescription. She grumbled that such a thing doesn't apply here, and the sign next to it clearly states that distinguished blood donors have such a privilege (no favor, as it's legally required). She refused to register me. Congratulations, Mr. Bodnar, on being such a kind patient care professional.

I wholeheartedly recommend midwife Danusia Dąbrowska. She's a true all-rounder, empathetic, smiling, and professional. She doesn't treat patients like just another "number." The antenatal classes she co-runs with Ms. Ania are a hit! They provide a wealth of information about pregnancy, childbirth, newborn care, and more, all delivered in a wonderful atmosphere over delicious coffee. I highly recommend them! :)
