It's hard to describe. We're in Czaplinek on vacation. My wife felt unwell. We were greeted very coldly, immediately told that the visit would be chargeable (through the National Health Fund?). We asked for a blood pressure check, but they said it would be after the nurse's arrival, which would be after ten, even though we arrived at nine. We felt sorry for her, feeling like intruders disturbing her peace. We don't recommend her.

Today (May 27th), I called to make an appointment with a doctor. The receptionist scheduled an appointment with my family doctor for... June 24th. Luckily, this year.

"(...) serve human life and health; protect the dignity of the medical profession and not taint it in any way." Please do not delete this review, the truth hurts: The Balticmed clinic is a living example of how the words of the medical oath differ greatly from the actual situation and how the "doctors" working there (in quotation marks, for good reason) treat their patients, as well as what they represent. And unfortunately, they represent the lowest point and a complete lack of empathy for another person, i.e., the patient. Calling and trying to register is one thing, bordering on a miracle. Since 8:00 AM, we tried to register my wife and child (first by phone) with severe flu-like symptoms, a temperature reaching 40 degrees Celsius, total weakness, nausea, and vomiting – to no avail. I went in person to register. I was supposed to wait for a phone call to see if the esteemed Mr. Wenzel would be willing to see and diagnose two sick people (including an 11-month-old child), who were growing weaker by the hour. By 12:00 noon, I hadn't received a response, so I went to the doctor again in person, this time accompanied by my wife and child. WAIT until the doctor sees you among his patients; perhaps he'll find time. This wouldn't have been surprising, except for the fact that the number of patients in the queue was very small, only a few. The doctor was so relaxed that he often left the office and disappeared for a moment, seeing perfectly well (and was also informed about it) how our child was weakening by the minute. At one point, my son literally hung limply in my arms. Not being invited into the office, shortly after 2:00 PM (after waiting for over two hours with a weakening child), I decided to invite myself in and ask for help. The first thing we received after entering the office uninvited was Mr. Wenzel's astonishment and the words, "I didn't ask you, I have patients now, please leave and wait." All this at the sight of a nearly one-year-old child hanging in my arms, for whom I'd been begging for a diagnosis and help since 8:00 a.m., not to mention my wife, who was barely able to stand, with a temperature of 39.8°C. I finally managed to get Mr. W. to give us literally five minutes of his attention, suggested he take another look at the child, and finally admitted us. I should have written, "It worked!" but I would be lying, and a shameful lie, because nothing actually worked. The entire visit involved a very hostile Mr. W., with blatant taunts and insults, even though we were very nice to him. After the diagnostic ritual, which lasted a good 2-3 minutes, we were sent off for a blood draw to check the child's blood sugar level (?) and a combo test, after which we had to wait to be called back. The call came just before 3 p.m. The doctor stated that the child had resisted the examination, refusing to let him look in its left ear (which is utter nonsense! The child was barely alive; how could it resist a grown man?). Since he couldn't fully examine the child because of this resistance, he sent us back to the ENT department in Wałcz. Do we understand each other? A child with a very high fever, barely alive, is sent to an ENT department somewhere else in the world because the doctor maliciously claimed he couldn't examine him. When I asked, "What about my wife?" The answer was rather cold: "I'm not interested in you, you weren't registered." The esteemed doctor heard a few words from me as a farewell, words that every patient wants to say to him, but not everyone has the courage. This ended with the police arriving, which, as it later turned out, did not help at all, because Mr. W. seemed to get a bit scared. To sum up this lengthy explanation - this whole 'clinic' is a caricature, a total distortion and distortion of what healthcare should be, what it actually has to be, because we, as patients, pay for it month after month, whether we use it or not, no one asks. Mr. W. is a complete departure from what we should associate the medical profession with.

This is a tragedy of the culture and manners of these ladies, unfortunately no one taught them how to behave at the reception, they behave as if they were punished for being at work, they are not helpful, not polite, rude to the point of shoveling and not to hold a chair in a clinic

I wanted to make an appointment with my 2-month-old baby. I was told to wait and observe because they wouldn't see me until the next day. The woman who answered the phone was angry that I called at 11 a.m. I'd been calling since morning, no one answered, and for 20 minutes, I was automatically rejected. When I mentioned this, the woman who answered the phone was even more aggressive, saying it wasn't her other doctor. She said it was my fault... I DO NOT RECOMMEND!
