Ladies, if you suffer from anxiety disorders and think tokophobia is an indication for a cesarean section, Dr. Chowański claims it's a 200 złoty piece of paper written out after smiling at the psychiatrist. Without checking my medical history, I was immediately presented as someone who doesn't want to give birth naturally. The doctor claims that tokophobia is a fear of pain – but there's nothing to worry about because we'll give you anesthesia during a natural birth – despite the fact that during my stay, one of the patients during a vaginal delivery requested anesthesia and was told that unfortunately, she wouldn't get it because they ran out. 😅 When the doctor informed me that there would be no cesarean section, he smiled pleasantly and said that since I had tattoos and lip fillers, I could give birth naturally. He was truly considerate, looking into my tearful and terrified face. According to Dr. Chowański, and I QUOTE, "such combinations cost 20,000 złoty in Warsaw." So I understand that I should pay this amount to the doctor to perform a cesarean section. 😅 I'm at a loss for words, I hope I never have to go through that again. Thank God there are still doctors like Dr. Kubiak and Dr. Kiciński.

Hospital in Konin. My friend's delivery. Written instructions for a cesarean section from the attending physician and a psychiatrist – my friend has been diagnosed with anxiety disorder. It would seem the matter is clear: the patient's safety comes first. But then he enters – Dr. Robert Chowański, head of the gynecology and obstetrics department. A glance at the patient. Documentation? Unnecessary. After all, diagnoses can be made based on appearance. "Have you had your lips done, injections, tattoos? That means you can give birth naturally." Let's forget about tests, psychiatric recommendations, the risk of a panic attack. It's enough that the ink under the skin and hyaluronic acid say "yes." Tone? "I'm the authority here." Smile? Condescending. Empathy? A lack of it in this room. Recommendations from two doctors? Throw it in the bin. And then the icing on the cake. In the hallway, he stops me and says, "Such scheming and arranging the paperwork for a C-section in Warsaw costs 20,000." Yes, in his world, a psychiatric referral for an abortion is probably a cunning plan and "schemes" worthy of a TV series script. This wasn't medical care. It was a show of ignorance and power. If you want your delivery judged by appearance and your mental health completely ignored, you've hit the jackpot. I left there with one thought: never again. This wasn't medical care. It was a show of arrogance.

I don't recommend it. The test took 5 minutes without a breast ultrasound. When I called for the Pap smear results, the doctor said that, as far as he remembered, all the results were fine. For that price, he should have done his due diligence. I was guided by the positive reviews... oh well. Never again.

The best doctor in the area... he saved my life. If it weren't for him, I would have been gone for four years. Several others saw me before him... He took one look, and thanks to him, I'm alive today. I wholeheartedly recommend him. I'm incredibly grateful.

A very good doctor. Experienced, empathetic, and patient. After changing gynecologists several times, I followed their recommendation and have been coming back for many years now :)
