  I would like to share my subjective opinion about the surgical department. I had surgery on January 31, 2026. Unfortunately, I don't remember all the names, but the one I am sure about is the name of the doctor who performed the surgery — Tomasz Z. I want to highlight his high professionalism (I will have a very nice scar) and the people involved in the surgery. Everyone was very polite and treated me with care.

  Some doctors in the gynecology department should consider retraining. The nurses and Dr. Dymek are saving the honor of this department. Furthermore, the communication is TERRIBLE. After the procedure, I couldn't get any information for 24 hours. The standard response from the doctors on rounds was, "How should I know? I wasn't there. It'll be written on the discharge summary." No one was able to help me determine which doctor performed the procedure. I was sedated during the procedure, so I didn't know. The information in the discharge summary turned out to be false. It was crucial to know if all the lesions had been removed – there were two, and the discharge summary stated that one had been removed. Both were removed, which I unfortunately only determined after a verbal exchange with the doctors when I left the hospital. The whole situation caused me a lot of additional stress. The mere thought of repeating the procedure was enough. And it could have easily been avoided. Furthermore, the discharge summary stated that the patient had been informed of the recommendations. Nothing of the sort happened. There was no post-procedure consultation with the doctor.

  The Emergency Department and 24-Hour Care are a mockery and a joke on patients. At 5 a.m., I was sent from the Emergency Department with my child crying in pain to 24-hour care, where the doctor on duty refused to even look at the child and said it wasn't an emergency since we arrived ourselves and didn't call an ambulance. The doctor on duty then waited and left, saying she was making house calls now, and then left. The doctor on duty returned a few minutes after 8 a.m., and when I asked if she would examine my daughter, she replied that her shift had ended and that there was a staff change. She locked herself in the office with the nurse and, after drinking coffee (I saw it before the nurse asked me to leave), went home around 8:45 a.m. When I entered the office, the nurse told me that if I came in so often, she would call hospital security. Around 9 a.m., a new doctor on duty arrived, and after almost four hours, we were admitted. We were first in line and by then there were already about 10 people waiting in the corridor, several of the people waiting said they were going to Jędrzejów or Krakow because it would be faster.

  Stayed from February 20-22, 2026, in the Trauma and Orthopedic Ward. Service 10/10. Nurses and doctors were top-notch. Constant contact with patients and 24/7 care. I actually felt like I was in a private clinic. This hospital and the ward demonstrate that a hospital stay doesn't have to be all unpleasant. Warm regards to all the smiling and friendly staff.
