  I went to the ER with my 8-month-old baby. From the very beginning, the nurses told me it was crowded, that we'd have to wait until later, maybe. I don't know what the point of that would be with a sick child... We waited about three hours. The doctor ordered a flu test, which the hospital didn't have—she told us to go downtown to the pharmacy to get one for our daughter. It was a holiday, so as is standard in Opoczno, one pharmacy had a two-hour evening shift with a long queue, so my husband returned with the test after an hour. We then had to ask the staff for a test and wait again for the doctor. The ER should be equipped for basic diagnostics, especially for infants. The test came back negative, and we were sent home. In any case, we ended up in the ward three days later... with the flu and pneumonia. But I won't go into detail here, as someone posted photos and described the atmosphere of the ward. In short, a disaster. The highlight was the cleaning lady at point 7, who came in with a mop and brush to scrub and mop the room, even though the baby was still sleeping, an 8-month-old baby, and sick at that. It seems logical that peace and quiet should be ensured during illness... and when I asked if the child could have soup because she had already eaten, they said she was too small and didn't deserve it. That was the first and last time I used it. Since then, I've been going to neighboring cities.

  I wholeheartedly recommend the surgical department at this hospital. All the medical staff are top-notch. This hospital is worth recommending. I say this as a resident of Piotrków Trybunalski. The doctors are kind, the ward nurses are wonderful, and so are the medical team. I highly recommend it and thank you for the wonderful care. A.P. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

  I would like to sincerely thank the doctors in the General Surgery Department, especially Dr. Wilk, for their professional and genuine care, as well as all the lower-level medical staff, especially the nurses and paramedics, for their empathy and patient care. They were always there for me, kind, smiling, and helpful. Despite the many negative reviews of this hospital, I want to testify that the hospital in Opoczno has changed and continues to change for the better. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

  I respect all the negative reviews here. Most medical facilities in our country deserve one star. My review applies solely to the Orthopedics department. My stay was short, professional, and extremely professional. The staff were kind, patient, and available to me at all times. I rate the care in the operating room extremely highly. I regret not being able to personally appreciate some of the staff. The woman who held me during the blockade cared for my well-being and peace of mind like a family member, and her grip felt more like a hug. I highly recommend it. I should add that the department itself is currently undergoing renovations. Fortunately, the surrounding area looks like a massive construction site, and I hope that the staff will soon be able to count on good working conditions for the benefit of patients. Warmest regards to all the staff. I won't say "see you soon" for obvious reasons, but if I ever need to, I will head your way without hesitation. All the best!
