  I was in the pediatric ward with my child. The staff was fantastic! The doctors and nurses were incredibly patient and helpful. But when it comes to cleanliness in the wards 🙈 Sewer moths are flying around the wards. The bathrooms are moldy, and the sink/bathtub leaks water onto the floor when you use them. The drains are black and smelly. The sinks look like they've only been wiped down, not cleaned. It's a disaster for me. But a big plus for the specialists 💪🏼

  My dad had the pleasure of being a patient of Dr. Mnich. From the initial consultation to post-operative care, the doctor demonstrated exceptional professionalism and empathy. He took the time to thoroughly explain the diagnosis and treatment options, ensuring my dad understood all the risks and benefits. The lumbar spine surgery was successful. The entire staff, working under Dr. Mnich's supervision, was supportive and helpful. Today, six days after the surgery, my dad was released from the hospital. We were thoroughly informed about post-operative recommendations, further rehabilitation, and follow-up appointments. I highly recommend Dr. Mnich to anyone looking for a top-notch neurosurgeon.   At the end of November, I had a situation where I ended up in cardiology for a coronary angiography procedure. What can I say? I've been in various hospitals from Krakow to Warsaw, but I've never had such medical care anywhere. As for the nurses, they're wonderful women who take care of patients as best they can. The ward nurse could teach other wards how to treat their staff and patients. The food is very good, the rooms are clean, and I have no complaints. You're doing a great job, and I'm incredibly grateful for the care you gave me.

  In December, I was admitted to the neurology ward with a serious spinal injury. But before I got there, an incident occurred, for which I'm deducting one star because of the doctor who first admitted me to the ER. Unfortunately, my first appointment was with a Ukrainian doctor who barely spoke or understood any Polish. I explained the situation and that my back hurt so much, it was unbearable, I couldn't function, and even strong opioids weren't providing relief. She gave me a shot of Ketonal 50 and I was off home! What a disaster, instead of calling a neurologist. And the nurse was completely speechless. If it weren't for the fact that the next day I stubbornly returned with worsening pain and was seen by a very nice and finally competent doctor of Polish citizenship, the whole procedure had only just begun, and in a flash, tests, a CT scan, an MRI, and a trip to the ward. What happened? I had three herniated discs, one of which was torn, a fragment lodged in my spinal canal, and a massive hernia. I'll likely need surgery, but fortunately, everything turned out relatively well. The hospital itself and the ER are perfectly fine, but please hire competent doctors who speak Polish fluently! After all, doctor-patient communication is key...
