  Internal Medicine Department. I was admitted for a planned test, which was suddenly canceled and rescheduled for the next day. Unfortunately, the flow of information between the doctors and staff was poor, causing unnecessary stress and chaos. The conversation with Dr. Renata I. was very unpleasant for me. While I was upset and tearful, instead of seriousness and empathy, I was met with a smirk and a lack of understanding. Finally, in an offended tone, I was told I could discharge myself at my own request. Fortunately, another doctor demonstrated professionalism, calmly explained everything, and apologized for the situation. A big plus for the nurses—they were very kind, helpful, and patiently answered all my questions.

  Thanks to the Internal Medicine Department and the Emergency Department for their dedication to my mother's treatment and care. Dr. Szychowska was dedicated, empathetic, and kind. She explained the patient's condition and the treatment being implemented. Despite the difficult conditions—the ward was undergoing renovations—the nurses were polite, competent, and tried to provide relief to the patient. Thank you.

  The hospital's cancer treatment regimen is limited to chemotherapy. The doctors knew better than we did that the treatment wasn't producing the expected results, yet they continued to administer chemotherapy to my father. When his condition worsened, they simply told him to wait. I'm convinced that if my father had been in better hands, he would still be alive.

  I wanted to give birth in Brzeziny, and just like the author, I ended up at this hospital with my water breaking, also at 36 weeks. Unfortunately, despite pleas with the doctors to allow me to give birth in Brzeziny, they refused and transported me to Łódź. I should add that there were no other complications other than the fact that I was at 36 weeks. I wasn't even given an ultrasound to assess the baby's weight, I was just given a magnesium drip and transported by ambulance to Łódź. Apparently, the staff wasn't in the mood to deliver a baby that day—the Chief Physician happened to be on duty. The midwife who inserted my IV line was offended because I asked her to insert it in the crook of my elbow, not in my hand. The rest of my stay was not very pleasant, to put it mildly. I gave birth there in 2023, and overall, I don't have the best memories of it, although only of the doctor—Dr. G was present at the birth – a very unpleasant doctor who didn't consider the patient's opinion. Without my consent, he forcibly punctured the amniotic sac (with his fingers), which was very painful and uncomfortable for me. The midwives were wonderful, but I decided to give birth there again, hoping to see a different doctor. Looking back, I'm very glad I didn't give birth there because I'm afraid I wouldn't have remembered it fondly. I gave birth at Rodzimy w chmurach CSK Łódź and I wholeheartedly recommend it. The doctors and midwives are people with hearts of gold, have a great approach to patients, and the care is top-notch. Brzeziny is a dump compared to the maternity ward in the clouds.

  I spent a week in this hospital. Throughout this time, I experienced compassionate and professional care. The entire staff was dedicated and patient. I am so grateful that, despite my fragile health, I felt truly cared for.
